Appointment Etiquette
Welcome to Shear Skin and Beauty! To ensure a seamless and relaxing experience for everyone, please review our salon guidelines below:
Arrival Time: Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete consultation forms. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time to keep our schedule on track (full service fee applies).
Salon Atmosphere: To keep our space peaceful, please switch mobile devices to silent and keep noise to a minimum in treatment areas.
Children & Guests: For safety reasons, children are not permitted in treatment rooms during LED or advanced skin procedures. For all other services, children using electronic devices must use headphones.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We know that life happens and plans change! To ensure we can accommodate other clients and manage our team’s schedule effectively, we require at least 24-48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or scheduled appointments.
Late Cancellations (Under 24 Hours): Cancellations or reschedule requests made within 24 hours of your appointment time may incur a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service value.
No-Shows: Missed appointments without notice will be charged 100% of the total service fee.
Prepaid Treatments & Packages: If you are redeeming a prepaid service, package session, or gift voucher failing to provide 24 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of that session.
We truly appreciate your understanding and ongoing support of Shear Skin and Beauty
Salon & Treatment Rooms
Our salon and treatment rooms are wheelchair friendly with just a little lip at the entrance door. If you require assistance, we kindly ask you to inform us at the time of booking your appointment so we can be setup and ready to accommodate you upon your arrival.
Parking
Parking is free in Shearwater and we have several car park spaces directly outside the salon, including a disabled parking spot. If these are filled there are plenty around the village area and only a few meters walk to the salon.
